My name is Dane Hoppe, owner and head trainer at pet.techniques. I’m a foster person turned dog trainer, and the dogs in my pack are my ambassadors. Having dealt with the stress of owning misbehaved dogs, I took it upon myself to get educated on philosophies that actually work, and the tools that empowered me as a dog owner.
Having a dog that is misbehaved, bratty, or simply doesn’t listen can be incredibly frustrating, embarrassing, and stressful. The consequences of having a toxic, unbalanced relationship with your dog will inevitably hinder your relationship with them, and can often be a slippery slope. That’s where I come in. I lead with energy, not force. Maintaining balance in yourself will greatly contribute to how you interact with your dog, and how your dog ultimately sees you.
Dog training is a lifestyle, and we truly believe you can build fantastic relationships with dogs through balanced training. We create clear expectations and boundaries with our dogs, while maintaining an approach that is both motivating and fun for them. Using both rewards and corrections, we work to build positive relationships with our dogs through leadership, structure, and creating healthy habits.
I am here to show you the benefits of living a balanced lifestyle so you can continue building a great relationship with your dog. Through my balanced training techniques, I will help you build self-confidence so you can carry that into a newly empowered life with your dog. I truly believe there’s an art to dog training, and I can't wait to work with you!
